Body contouring

Have you tried everything to get rid of your fatty deposits and you still do not have the desired result? If, despite diet and exercise, you have stubborn bulges that prevent you from wearing your favorite clothes, know that there is a solution: CoolSculpting, a technique that refines the silhouette without surgery and without recovery time . With more than 7 million treatments performed worldwide, CoolSculpting has become a very popular treatment in the greater Montreal area.

Why choose our clinic?

The Clinique médico-esthétique Dre Morin was the first to offer you this treatment in Laval. It is therefore since 2015 that we have specialized in sculpting your body. Our three coolsculpting technicians were trained at the Coolsculpting University in Virginia, and receive continuing education each year.

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical body shaping treatment that freezes and removes fat from your body. Developed by Harvard University scientists, CoolSculpting uses a patented controlled cooling procedure that targets and destroys fat cells under the skin.

During the treatment, the fat cells will be frozen. Which will lead to apoptosis of the fat cell (self-destruction); the skin, muscles and nerves are not affected. The liver naturally processes fat and the lymphatic system eliminates these dead cells.

How long is a CoolSculpting session?

A CoolSculpting session does not take more than 35 minutes per treated region and does not require any recovery time following treatment. Usually one treatment is sufficient, but some clients opt for a second treatment if they desire even more pronounced results. You can receive treatment during your lunch break, or target multiple areas while watching a movie on Netflix or working on your tablet.

What do you feel during a CoolSculpting session?

Most clients feel no pain during treatment. At the end of the treatment, discomfort will be felt as the treated area thaws for only a few minutes. Afterwards, you may notice some numbness in the treated area, and this for several days.

How much does a CoolSculpting treatment cost?

It takes about $800 to treat a single area. However, the price will vary depending on the number of treatments or areas needed. Your body and your needs are unique, which is why a personalized treatment plan will be developed during your consultation to meet your specific needs.

When will the results be visible?

In general, changes can be visible as early as 4 to 6 weeks, the most dramatic results appear after 10 to 12 weeks. No maintenance treatment is necessary.

Where do I start?

A consultation with one of our highly qualified technicians is offered to you fro free. We will discuss your goals and your physical type and lifestyle. Look at before and after photos and work out a treatment plan together.

Which regions can be treated with CoolSculpting?

The CoolSculpting is specially designed to treat stubborn fat deposits around the stomach, flanks, back, thighs (inside and outside). As well as small areas such as the arms, knees and the double chin.

How long do the effects of CoolSculpting last? What happens if I gain weight after the treatment?

Adults have a set number of fat cells. Although these cells swell and deflate as we gain or lose weight, once destroyed, they don’t reform. After your session, we encourage you to maintain your weight with a healthy diet and regular physical activity. In fact, once our patients see the results of their treatment, they usually take better care of themselves.

If you gain weight after your treatment, your fat cells will grow as usual, however the treated area will remain smaller since you have fewer cells left. The best results are most often in patients who have a stable weight and want to shed the stubborn fat that naturally builds up as they age.
